Research interest:

Cavity Quantum Electrodynamics and QED with Boundary Conditions.

  • Main result: finding the dependence of the decoherence time on the number of degrees of freedom and entanglement.

Quantum Field Theory of Non-Stationary Systems

  • Main result: suppression of the vacuum Rabi oscillations in cavities by the non-resonant oscillatory motion of the cavity walls

Radiative Heat Transfer

  • Main result: providing a solid, quantum-electrodynamical foundation for the thermal scanning microscopy.

Partial Differential Equations and Exactly Solvable Problems in Mathematical Physics

  • Main results: (a) prediction of systems with superluminal wave propagation in both forward and backward directions; (b) finding solitary, kink-like solutions to some four-level systems with damping.
